34 U.S.C. § 21741 — Training and technical assistance for States

The Attorney General, working with the Secretary of Health and Human Services and coordinating with the Elder Justice Coordinating Council, must create, gather, evaluate, and share materials and information. The Attorney General must also give states and local governments the training and technical assistance they need to help them with two things: (1) Investigating, prosecuting, pursuing, preventing, understanding, and reducing the harm from (A) physical, sexual, and psychological abuse of elders; (B) exploitation of elders, including financial abuse and scams that target elders; and (C) neglect of elders; and (2) Assessing, addressing, and reducing the physical and psychological trauma suffered by victims of elder abuse.
