Congress may appropriate $20 million for each fiscal year ending after September 30, 2022, for Federal law-enforcement assistance in the form of money. It may also appropriate whatever amounts are needed for other forms of assistance for fiscal years ending after September 30, 1984.
(a) Congress may appropriate $20,000,000 for each fiscal year ending after September 30, 2022, to provide Federal law-enforcement assistance in money under this chapter.
(b) Congress may appropriate whatever amounts are needed for other Federal law-enforcement assistance under this chapter for each fiscal year ending after September 30, 1984.
There is authorized to be appropriated $20,000,000 for each fiscal year ending after September 30, 2022, to provide under this chapter Federal law enforcement assistance* in the form of funds.
There are authorized to be appropriated for each fiscal year ending after September 30, 1984, such sums as may be necessary to provide under this chapter Federal law enforcement assistance other than funds.
