The President is asked to proclaim National Hispanic Heritage Month each year. It runs from September 15 through October 15. The proclamation would call on Americans, especially schools, to mark it with ceremonies and activities.
The President is requested to issue each year a proclamation—
designating September 15 through October 15 as National Hispanic Heritage Month; and
calling on the people of the United States, especially the educational community, to observe National Hispanic Heritage Month with appropriate ceremonies and activities.
