This law names October 1 as Choose Respect Day. Private citizens, organizations, and government and legislative bodies at every level are encouraged to recognize the day through proclamations, activities, and education aimed at changing the culture that tolerates violence against women.
October 1 is Choose Respect Day.
All private citizens, organizations, and Federal, State, and local governmental and legislative entities are encouraged to recognize Choose Respect Day through proclamations, activities, and educational efforts in furtherance of changing the culture around the tolerance of violence against women.
