The corporation alone has the right to use the names "National American Indian Veterans, Incorporated" and "National American Indian Veterans." It also alone controls any seals, emblems, or badges it lawfully adopts. This right does not override anyone else's already-established legal rights.
(a) In General. The corporation has the sole and exclusive right to use two names: "National American Indian Veterans, Incorporated" and "National American Indian Veterans." It also has the sole and exclusive right to any seals, emblems, and badges it lawfully adopts.
(b) Effect. This section does not interfere with or conflict with any rights that already existed or were already vested before this section applies.
The corporation shall have the sole and exclusive right to use the names “National American Indian Veterans, Incorporated” and “National American Indian Veterans”, and such seals, emblems, and badges as the corporation may lawfully adopt.
Nothing in this section interferes or conflicts with any established or vested rights.
