36 U.S.C. § 150414 — Failure to comply with requirements

If the corporation breaks any rule in this chapter, its federal charter expires. That includes the rule requiring it to keep its tax-exempt status.
This section sets the consequence for not following the chapter's rules. If the corporation fails to comply with any requirement in this chapter — including the requirement in section 150410 to maintain tax-exempt status — its federal charter expires.
If the corporation fails to comply with any of the requirements of this chapter, including the requirement under section 150410 to maintain its status as an organization exempt from taxation, the charter granted by this chapter shall expire.
