The National Education Association of the United States is a federally chartered corporation. It is declared to be incorporated in Washington, D.C., and unless a rule says otherwise, it exists forever.
(a) Federal Charter. This section creates a federal charter for the National Education Association of the United States, called "the corporation" throughout this chapter.
(b) Place of Incorporation. The corporation is declared to be incorporated in the District of Columbia.
(c) Perpetual Existence. Unless another provision says otherwise, the corporation exists forever.
National Education Association of the United States (in this chapter, the “corporation”) is a federally chartered corporation.
The corporation is declared to be incorporated in the District of Columbia.
Except as otherwise provided, the corporation has perpetual existence.
