The corporation can adopt and amend bylaws, adopt a seal, and own or lease property for its purposes. It can also run educational trusts, borrow money, and sue or be sued in court.
The corporation may: (1) adopt and amend bylaws; (2) adopt and change a corporate seal; (3) acquire, own, lease, put a lien on, and transfer property to carry out its purposes; (4) accept and manage a trust for educational purposes; (5) borrow money, issue debt instruments, and secure its debts with property as collateral; and (6) sue and be sued in any U.S. court, or any other court with proper jurisdiction.
The corporation may—
adopt and amend bylaws;
adopt and alter a corporate seal;
acquire, own, lease, encumber, and transfer property to carry out the purposes of the corporation;
accept and administer a trust for educational purposes;
borrow money, issue instruments of indebtedness, and secure its obligations by granting security interests in its property; and
sue and be sued in any court of the United States, or other court of competent jurisdiction.
