The society can adopt a constitution, bylaws, and a seal. It can also acquire, own, lease, mortgage, and transfer property, as long as that helps carry out its purposes.
The corporation may do three things. It can adopt a constitution and bylaws. It can adopt a seal. And it can acquire, own, lease, encumber (put a lien or mortgage on), and transfer property, as necessary or useful to carry out its purposes.
The corporation may—
adopt a constitution and bylaws;
adopt a seal; and
acquire, own, lease, encumber, and transfer property as necessary or convenient to carry out its purposes.
