This section provides for the corporation’s organization through its constitution and bylaws.
(a) Federal charter. — Big Brothers—Big Sisters of America, called the “corporation” in this chapter, is a federally chartered corporation. (b) Place of incorporation and domicile. — The corporation is declared incorporated and domiciled in the District of Columbia. (c) Perpetual existence. — Unless otherwise provided, the corporation exists permanently.

Except as otherwise provided, the corporation has perpetual existence.
