The corporation can adopt a constitution, bylaws, and regulations, plus a corporate seal, emblems, and badges. It can open offices, form state and local chapters, own and transfer property, publish materials, sue and be sued, and do anything else necessary to carry out its purposes.
The corporation may—
adopt a constitution, bylaws, and regulations to carry out the purposes of the corporation;
adopt and alter a corporate seal;
adopt emblems and badges;
establish and maintain offices to conduct its activities;
establish State and territorial organizations and local chapter or post organizations;
acquire, own, lease, encumber, and transfer property as necessary to carry out the purposes of the corporation;
publish a newspaper and other publications devoted to the purposes of the corporation;
sue and be sued; and
do any other act necessary or proper to carry out the purposes of the corporation.
