This section defines two terms used in the chapter. "Federal agency" has the same meaning given in section 102. "TTY" means a text-telephone that sends coded signals over the phone network.
(1) Federal agency — In this chapter, "federal agency" has the same meaning given that term in section 102 of this title.
(2) TTY — "TTY" means a text-telephone: a device used to send coded signals through the nationwide telecommunications system.
