This section authorizes $212,804,000 for fiscal year 1993 and needed funds for 1994. It funds this part of the nuclear reactor program. Money for space reactor and radioisotope power systems and the space exploration initiative is added on top, separately.
This section authorizes $212,804,000 for fiscal year 1993, and whatever sums are needed for fiscal year 1994, for the Secretary* to carry out this part (the advanced nuclear reactor program). Money authorized or otherwise made available for program direction, space reactor power systems, advanced radioisotope power systems, and the space exploration initiative — under nuclear energy research and development — is on top of, not part of, the amounts this section authorizes.
There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary* for carrying out this part $212,804,000 for fiscal year 1993 and such sums as may be necessary for fiscal year 1994. Amounts authorized or otherwise made available for program direction, space reactor power systems, advanced radioisotope power systems, and the space exploration initiative under nuclear energy research and development shall be in addition to the amounts authorized in the preceding sentence.
