42 U.S.C. § 16161e — Laboratory management

(a) In general — The National Energy Technology Laboratory, the Idaho National Laboratory, and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory must keep working together across program lines to carry out the programs set up under sections 16161a and 16161c. (b) Coordination; clearinghouse — To do this, the National Energy Technology Laboratory must (1) coordinate with (A) the Idaho National Laboratory, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and other National Laboratories, working across program lines; (B) colleges and universities; (C) research institutes; (D) industry researchers; and (E) international researchers; and (2) act as a clearinghouse, collecting information from and sharing it with the National Laboratories and the other groups just listed.
