The Secretary must coordinate training and outreach for international commercial energy markets in developing and restructuring economies. The section lists possible training subjects and authorizes $1.5 million per year for 2007–2010.
(a) Consulting the Commerce, Interior, and State* Secretaries and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Secretary* must coordinate training and outreach for international commercial energy markets in countries with developing or restructuring economies. (b) The work may cover production-related fiscal systems; grid and network issues; energy users and demand-side response; international energy trade; and international energy transportation. (c) Congress authorizes $1,500,000 for each fiscal year 2007–2010.
The Secretary*, in consultation with the Secretary of Commerce, the Secretary of the Interior, and Secretary of State*, and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, shall coordinate training and outreach efforts for international commercial energy markets in countries with developing and restructuring economies.
The training and outreach efforts referred to in subsection (a) may include—
production-related fiscal regimes;
grid and network issues;
energy user and demand side response;
international trade of energy; and
international transportation of energy.
There is authorized to be appropriated to carry out this section $1,500,000 for each of fiscal years 2007 through 2010.
