42 U.S.C. § 17335 — Actions by United States Trade and Development Agency

(a) Authorized assistance. The Agency Director^* must establish or support policies that (1) proactively seek funding opportunities for projects using clean and efficient energy technologies, including trade-capacity and capital-investment projects; (2) when appropriate, advance those technologies, especially in countries able to significantly reduce greenhouse-gas emissions; and (3) recruit and retain people with suitable clean, renewable, and efficient-energy expertise to identify and evaluate projects and services. (b) Report. The President must include implementation activities in the annual Trade and Development Agency report required by section 2421(d) of title 22.
