Congress authorized whatever funding is needed, for 1993 and later years, to keep the student loan insurance account solvent and to run this subpart. That money stays available until it's spent.
(a) In general
For fiscal year 1993 and every year after, Congress authorized whatever amount is necessary to keep the student loan insurance account adequately funded, and to administer this subpart.
(b) Availability of sums
Money appropriated under (a) stays available until it's spent — it doesn't expire at the end of the fiscal year.
For fiscal year 1993 and subsequent fiscal years, there are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary for the adequacy of the student loan insurance account under this subpart and for the purpose of administering this subpart.
Sums appropriated under subsection (a) shall remain available until expended.
