42 U.S.C. § 5313 — Reporting requirements

(a) Within 180 days after each fiscal year in which assistance under this chapter is provided ends, the Secretary^* must send Congress a report. The report must describe progress toward the chapter’s goals; summarize how the money was used during the prior fiscal year; for action grants under section 5318, list each unit of general local government^* that received money, the grant amount, a short description of each project^*, other public or private financial contributions, and the project’s effect on employment and economic activity during the prior fiscal year; and describe activities under section 5308. (b) The Secretary may require assistance recipients to submit reports and other information needed to prepare this report.
