Each State must provide at least 20 percent of the Federal contribution to the base State Energy Conservation Program in cash or in kind.
For the base State* Energy Conservation Program, each State must match at least 20 percent of the Federal contribution. The match may be cash or an in-kind contribution.
For the base State* Energy Conservation Program (part D of the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, sections 361 through 366 [42 U.S.C. 6321–6326]), each State will hereafter match in cash or in kind not less than 20 percent of the Federal contribution.
