Congress authorized specified amounts for carrying out subchapters II and III for fiscal years and periods from 1976 through 1977. It also authorized whatever sums are needed for each later fiscal year.
(a) Subchapter II. Congress authorized $750,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1976; $500,000 for July 1 through September 30, 1976; $3,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1977; and whatever sums are necessary for each later fiscal year.
(b) Subchapter III. Congress authorized $750,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1976; $500,000 for July 1 through September 30, 1976; $1,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1977; and whatever sums are necessary for each later fiscal year.
For the purpose of carrying out subchapter II of this chapter, there are authorized to be appropriated—
$750,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1976;
$500,000 for the period beginning July 1, 1976, and ending September 30, 1976;
$3,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1977; and
such sums as may be necessary for each of the succeeding fiscal years.
For the purpose of carrying out subchapter III of this chapter, there are authorized to be appropriated—
$750,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1976;
$500,000 for the period beginning July 1, 1976, and ending September 30, 1976;
$1,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1977; and
such sums as may be necessary for each of the succeeding fiscal years.
