Following this subchapter's rules doesn't excuse a source from other Clean Air Act requirements. The only exceptions are ones the law states directly.
Unless this law specifically says otherwise, following this subchapter's rules does not let an owner* or operator skip any other requirement of the Clean Air Act that applies to their source. They still must comply with every other applicable part of the chapter.
Except as expressly provided, compliance with the requirements of this subchapter shall not exempt or exclude the owner* or operator of any source subject to this subchapter from compliance with any other applicable requirements of this chapter.
