42 U.S.C. § 8262i — United States Postal Service energy management report

Within one year of October 24, 1992, and by January 1 every year after that, the Postmaster General must report to the Senate Committees on Governmental Affairs and on Energy and Natural Resources, and to the House Committees on Energy and Commerce and on Post Office and Civil Service, on the Postal Service's building energy management program. The report must include, but isn't limited to (1) actions taken to cut energy use; (2) future plans to cut energy use; (3) an assessment of how well the conservation program is working; (4) total energy costs for running and maintaining all Postal Service facilities; and (5) the status of the energy-efficient buying program set up under section 8262h.
