This subchapter updates the 1902 Federal reclamation law. It can be called the Reclamation Reform Act of 1982.
This subchapter amends and adds to the Act of June 17, 1902, and its later amendments and supplements (43 U.S.C. 371) — called "Federal reclamation law." This subchapter may be called the "Reclamation Reform Act of 1982."
This subchapter shall amend and supplement the Act of June 17, 1902, and Acts supplementary thereto and amendatory thereof (43 U.S.C. 371), hereinafter referred to as “Federal reclamation law”. This subchapter may be referred to as the “Reclamation Reform Act of 1982”.
