43 U.S.C. § 624 — Entry of approval on land records

After approving the district map or plat, the Interior Secretary’s designated officer must record that approval in the land records.
When the Interior Secretary approves the district map or plat, the officer the Secretary designates must note the approval in the officer’s records wherever unentered or entered and unpatented land is affected.
Upon the approval of the district map or plat as hereinbefore provided by the Secretary of the Interior the officer designated by the Secretary of the Interior will note said approval upon his records where any unentered or entered and unpatented lands are affected.
