The Virgin Islands Government must pay specified officials, employees, and legislators. Their pay and travel allowances must follow Virgin Islands law.
The Virgin Islands Government must pay the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, executive-department heads, other government officers and employees, and legislators their salaries and travel allowances at rates set by Virgin Islands law.
The salaries and travel allowances of the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, the heads of the executive departments, other officers and employees of the government of the Virgin Islands, and the members of the legislature shall be paid by the government of the Virgin Islands at rates prescribed by the laws of the Virgin Islands.
