This chapter does not remove the Secretary’s authority to regulate commercial motor vehicle safety for vehicles below 26,001 pounds, or a lower weight the Secretary selects under section 31301(4)(A).
This chapter does not affect the Secretary’s authority to regulate commercial motor vehicle safety involving a vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating below 26,001 pounds, or below another rating the Secretary selects under section 31301(4)(A).
This chapter does not affect the authority of the Secretary of Transportation to regulate commercial motor vehicle safety involving motor vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating of less than 26,001 pounds or a lesser gross vehicle weight rating the Secretary decides is appropriate under section 31301(4)(A) of this title.
