Congress authorized $20 million for voting-technology research grants in fiscal year 2003. That money stays available with no yearly deadline until it is spent.
(a) In general: Congress authorized $20,000,000 for grants under this subpart for fiscal year 2003.
(b) Availability of funds: Money appropriated under this authorization stays available, with no fiscal-year deadline, until it is spent.
There are authorized to be appropriated for grants under this subpart $20,000,000 for fiscal year 2003.
Amounts appropriated pursuant to the authorization under this section shall remain available, without fiscal year limitation, until expended.
