54 U.S.C. § 305502 — Cooperative agreement to operate museum

To create a national center that celebrates the building arts and preserves a historically important building that shows off great American achievements in building arts, the Secretary and the Administrator of General Services must sign a cooperative agreement with the Committee. This agreement sets up the Committee to run a National Building Museum in the federal building located in the block bounded by Fourth Street, Fifth Street, F Street, and G Street, Northwest, in Washington, D.C. The agreement must include terms that (1) let the Committee use the site free of charge; (2) provide maintenance, security, information, janitorial, and other services needed to preserve and run the site, as far as money appropriated for it allows; and (3) set reasonable terms and conditions for how the Committee carries out its responsibilities under this division.
