This part does not replace the Administrator's civilian emergency-management authority under the Stafford Act or the Post-Katrina Emergency Management Reform Act. It gives the Secretary no new authority except authority to coordinate and help develop the assessments and reports required by this part.
(a) Administrator*. Nothing in this part overrides the Administrator's civilian emergency*-management authority under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act or the Post Katrina Emergency Management* Reform Act.
(b) Secretary*. Nothing in this part gives the Secretary new authority, except authority to coordinate and facilitate development of this part's required assessments and reports.
Nothing in this part shall be construed to supersede the civilian emergency management* authority of the Administrator under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency* Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5121 et seq.) or the Post Katrina Emergency Management Reform Act 1 (6 U.S.C. 701 et seq.).
Nothing in this part shall be construed as providing new authority to the Secretary, except to coordinate and facilitate the development of the assessments and reports required pursuant to this part.
