The Administrator may let Environmental Protection Agency employees exercise this authority. The Administrator must cooperate with the Department of Agriculture and other agencies. This includes federal, state, and local agencies, to keep rules consistent.
(a) Delegation
The Administrator* runs the Environmental Protection Agency's pesticide* program under this law. The Administrator can pick employees of the Environmental Protection Agency to use these powers instead. Those employees then have the same authority and legal effect as the Administrator.
(b) Cooperation
The Administrator must work with the Department of Agriculture. The Administrator must also work with any other federal agency. The Administrator must work with state* agencies and local government agencies too. This cooperation helps carry out the law. It also helps keep pesticide rules consistent across different agencies.
All authority vested in the Administrator* by virtue of the provisions of this subchapter may with like force and effect be executed by such employees of the Environmental Protection Agency as the Administrator may designate for the purpose.
The Administrator shall cooperate with Department of Agriculture, any other Federal agency, and any appropriate agency of any State* or any political subdivision thereof, in carrying out the provisions of this subchapter, and in securing uniformity of regulations.
