The Secretary of Agriculture must keep developing a national safe food handling education program. It targets both adults and young people to cut food-borne illness risk. States can adopt it through extension services and school programs.
The Secretary of Agriculture must keep developing a national program to teach adults and young people how to safely handle food, in order to reduce the risk of food-borne illness. This program must be designed so states can adopt and run it through their cooperative extension services and school-based education programs.
The Secretary of Agriculture shall continue to develop a national program of safe food handling education for adults and young people to reduce the risk of food-borne illness. The national program shall be suitable for adoption and implementation through State cooperative extension services and school-based education programs.
