The Secretary must study the effect of limiting producers' ability to move quota to a different farm. The Secretary must report the results to Congress within 90 days.
(1) The Secretary* must study the effects of limiting producers from moving quota to a farm other than the farm first assigned the quota under Part I of subtitle B of title III of the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1938. (2) Within 90 days after May 13, 2002, the Secretary must report the results to the House Agriculture Committee and the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee.
The Secretary* shall conduct a study on the effects on the limitation on producers to move quota to a farm other than the farm to which the quota was initially assigned under part I of subtitle B of title III of the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1938 (7 U.S.C. 1311 et seq.).
Not later than 90 days after May 13, 2002, the Secretary shall submit to the Committee on Agriculture of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry of the Senate a report on the results of the study.
