U.S. courts must enforce the Inter-American Convention on International Commercial Arbitration. That treaty was signed on January 30, 1975. Courts follow the rules in this chapter to enforce it.
This section makes an international arbitration treaty enforceable in U.S. courts. The Inter-American Convention on International Commercial Arbitration, signed January 30, 1975, must be enforced in United States courts, following the rules set out in this chapter.
The Inter-American Convention on International Commercial Arbitration of January 30, 1975, shall be enforced in United States courts in accordance with this chapter.
