16 U.S.C. § 460ccc — Definitions

This section defines three terms used in this part of the law. "Conservation area" means the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. "Public lands" and "Secretary" get their meanings from other parts of federal law.
For the purposes of this subchapter, the term—
“conservation area” means the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area established pursuant to section 460ccc–1 of this title;
“public lands” has the meaning stated in section 1702(e) of title 43; and
“Secretary” means the Secretary of the Interior.
