10 U.S.C. § 3066 — Assignment and delegation of procurement functions and responsibilities: procurements for or with other agencies

Subject to section 3065, and to facilitate covered agencies’ procurement for other agencies and joint procurement, (1) an agency head may delegate procurement functions and assign related responsibilities to an officer or employee of that agency; (2) two or more agency heads may agree to transfer those functions and responsibilities from one agency to another or to its officer or civilian employee; and (3) two or more agency heads may create joint or combined offices to perform them. This section does not define “chapter 137 legacy provision.”
