The Assistant Secretary for Environmental Management must establish rules for classifying defense environmental cleanup work as either capital-asset projects or operations activities. The Assistant Secretary must consult appropriate Department of Energy officials.
The Assistant Secretary of Energy for Environmental Management, after consulting other appropriate Department of Energy officials, must establish requirements for classifying defense environmental cleanup projects as capital asset projects or operations activities.
The Assistant Secretary of Energy for Environmental Management, in consultation with other appropriate officials of the Department of Energy, shall establish requirements for the classification of defense environmental cleanup projects as capital asset projects or operations activities.
