There is an Army* Medical Department in the Army. The Army Medical Department consists of—
the Surgeon General;
the Assistant Surgeons General;
the Medical Corps;
the Dental Corps;
the Veterinary Corps;
the Medical Service Corps;
the Army Nurse Corps; and
the Army Medical Specialist Corps.
