A retired Air Force or Space Force commissioned officer on active duty is treated as an officer of the assigned organization for all purposes except promotion.
A retired commissioned officer* of the Air Force or Space Force who is on active duty* is considered, for every purpose except promotion, an officer* of the organization to which assigned.
A retired commissioned officer* of the Air Force or the Space Force who is on active duty* is considered, for all purposes except promotion, to be an officer* of the organization to which he is assigned.
