Agency public data must be open, downloadable, human-readable, and API-accessible when appropriate.
Every public data asset the Agency* publishes must (1) be an open Government data asset as defined in section 3502 of title 44, (2) be freely downloadable, (3) be in a human-readable format, and (4) when appropriate, be accessible through an application programming interface.
All public data assets published by the Agency* shall be—
made available as an open Government data asset (as defined in section 3502 of title 44);
freely available for download;
rendered in a human-readable format; and
accessible via application programming interface where appropriate.
