The statute authorizes whatever amounts are needed to administer and fund this subchapter’s programs and projects. It also authorizes annual funding for the Fund’s administrative costs.
(a) Authorization to the Secretary. Congress may appropriate amounts needed to administer and fund this subchapter’s programs and projects, available until spent. (b) Authorization to the Fund. Beginning in fiscal year 2010, Congress may appropriate to the Fund each fiscal year an amount equal to the Fund’s administrative costs for operating the grant program.
There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary, such sums as are necessary to both administer and fund the programs and projects authorized by this subchapter, to remain available until expended.
There is authorized to be appropriated to the Fund for each fiscal year beginning in fiscal year 2010, an amount equal to the amount of the administrative costs of the Fund for the operation of the grant program established under this subchapter.
