If a court invalidates part of this chapter or its application to someone or something, the rest of the chapter remains effective. The same is true for applying the invalid provision elsewhere.
If any provision of this chapter, or applying it to a person* or circumstance, is held invalid, that does not affect the remaining provisions or applying the provision to other people or circumstances.
If any provision of this chapter or the application of this chapter to any person* or circumstance is held invalid, neither the remainder of this chapter nor the application of that provision to other persons or circumstances shall be affected thereby.
