The Secretary of the Interior is responsible for running, protecting, developing, and maintaining the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park, following the general law that governs national parks.
The Secretary of the Interior must administer, protect, develop, and maintain the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park. This must be done following the Act of August 25, 1916 — the law that generally governs the National Park Service — as that law has since been amended and added to.
The Secretary of the Interior shall administer, protect, develop, and maintain the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park in accordance with the provisions of the Act of August 25, 1916 (39 Stat 535; 16 U.S.C. 1 et seq.),1 as amended and supplemented.
