16 U.S.C. § 410hhhh–5 — Definitions

This section defines three terms: preservation district, historical park, and Secretary. Each points to where that term is created elsewhere in the law.
For this subchapter: (1) "preservation district" means the Jimmy Carter National Preservation District created under section 410hhhh–1; (2) "historical park" means the Jimmy Carter National Historical Park created under section 410hhhh; and (3) "Secretary" means the Secretary of the Interior.
For the purposes of this subchapter—
the term “preservation district” means the Jimmy Carter National Preservation District established under section 410hhhh–1 of this title;
the term “historical park” means the Jimmy Carter National Historical Park established under section 410hhhh of this title; and
the term “Secretary” means the Secretary of the Interior.
