16 U.S.C. § 410nnn–4 — Cooperative agreements

To further this subchapter's purposes, the Secretary may enter cooperative agreements with the United Mexican States — following whatever international agreements already exist — and with other owners of properties connected to the Mexican-American War within the United States. These agreements support joint research and interpretive planning, covering both the historical park and other related Mexican-American War sites. Any interpretive information and programs that come out of this work must reflect the historical data and perspectives of both the United States and Mexico, and must present the whole sequence of historical events tied to the war.
