16 U.S.C. § 410iii–10 — Cooperative agreements

(a) In general To further this subchapter's purposes, the Secretary^* may make cooperative agreements with interested public and private groups and individuals — including the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Belle Grove, Inc., the Cedar Creek Battlefield Foundation, the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation, and Frederick, Shenandoah, and Warren Counties — offering technical and financial assistance, including help conserving the Park's historic and natural resources.

(b) Technical and financial assistance The Secretary may give any person, organization, or government entity technical and financial help for purposes such as (1) preserving historic structures inside the Park^*; (2) maintaining the Park's natural or cultural landscape; (3) local preservation planning, interpretation, and managing public visits to the Park; and (4) furthering the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation's goals connected to the Park.
