16 U.S.C. § 7708 — Territorial participation

This section addresses territorial participation. It assigns the stated duties, limits, permissions, or funding described below.
(a) Territorial participation. The Secretary* of State* must ensure that the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, and Guam participate in the Commission* and its subsidiary bodies to the extent United States law allows.
The Secretary* of State* shall ensure participation in the Commission* and its subsidiary bodies by the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, and Guam to the extent allowed under United States law.
