This part of the law does not override the accessibility rules already set by the Architectural Barriers Act and a related disability-rights law.
This section is one short rule with no subsections, called a savings clause. It says that nothing in this part of the law may be read to create standards that conflict with the Architectural Barriers Act of 1968 or with 29 U.S.C. § 794.
Nothing in the 1 part shall be construed to create any conflicting standards with the Architectural Barriers Act of 1968 (42 U.S.C. 4151 et seq.) and section 794 of title 29.
