This section makes it a crime to knowingly and willfully obstruct, resist, or oppose a United States extradition agent while the agent performs official duties. The punishment may be a fine, imprisonment for up to one year, or both.
Whoever knowingly and willfully obstructs, resists, or opposes an extradition agent of the United States in the execution of his duties, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.
