Congress found that classified school employees provide valuable and essential services, support student welfare and safety, and strive for excellence. Congress also found that exemplary employees should be recognized for their contributions to quality education.
Congress finds: (1) Classified school employees provide valuable service in the United States. (2) They provide essential services such as transportation, facilities maintenance and operations, food service, safety, and health care. (3) They play a vital role in student welfare and safety. (4) They strive for excellence throughout the education community. (5) Exemplary classified school employees should be recognized for outstanding contributions to quality education in the United States.
Congress finds the following:
Classified school employees provide valuable service in the United States.
Classified school employees provide essential services, such as transportation, facilities maintenance and operations, food service, safety, and health care.
Classified school employees play a vital role in providing for the welfare and safety of students.
Classified school employees strive for excellence in all areas of service to the education community.
Exemplary classified school employees should be recognized for their outstanding contributions to quality education in the United States.
