A dam authorized by this Act must include penstocks or similar facilities for possible future hydroelectric power when the specified officials approve them.
An authorized dam must include penstocks or similar facilities suitable for possible future hydroelectric-power development when the Secretary of the Army approves them on the recommendation of the Chief of Engineers and the Secretary of Energy.
Penstocks or other similar facilities adapted to possible future use in the development of hydroelectric power shall be installed in any dam herein authorized when approved by the Secretary of the Army upon the recommendation of the Chief of Engineers and of the Secretary of Energy.
